ITI stands for Industrial Training Institute. After successfully completing the course, the students are required to undergo a practical training in his or her trade in an industry for one or two years. We don't call them student, we call them trainee and the instructors are called trainers. We train them for industry. In ITI trainee do more practical work and practical is called workshop.
